Limited Edition? Must buy now!

After my recent purchase of a brand spankin’ new digital camera (Sony Cybershot w80), I’ve decided to test it out and take a few pictures of some collector’s stuff I bought recently.

Vampire Graphic File

An artbook dedicated to various artwork through out the Darkstalkers video game series. It includes various original artwork, cover art, character profiles, and even movelists (go figure).

I haven’t had a chance to check out the whole thing in detail but, from what I’ve seen so far, it looks pretty good. This is my first artbook that I’ve bought minus all the artbooks I’ve received with limited edition packages of various games or soundtracks.

Mushihimesama Futari Original Soundtrack

Cave fans should know of the vertical shooter titled “Mushihimesama” and it’s sequel “Mushihimesama Futari”. This OST belongs to the latter and includes not just the soundtrack but, an artbook and a cellphone strap as well. This whole packaged is bundled inside a very nice looking box cover.

However, after listening to the soundtrack for the first time, I can’t say that I’m exactly impressed with it. It sounds a bit similar to the first game’s OST which wasn’t too great either. I was also a little upset that four of the limited number of tracks were all voice collections. =\

Grim Grimoire w/ extras

This one I’ve previewed in one of my earlier posts. The package basically included the game (obviously), the original soundtrack, and a postcard book.

I was particularly impressed with both the OST and the postcard book (I haven’t had a chance to play the game yet). The OST felt very dramatic and was a pretty good background music while playing FFXI. The postcard book contained individual postcards, each with different artwork on the front of it (no way am I gonna be sending any of those babies out =p).
